Our story

Bringing home closer

WaraMart began with a simple frustration: the food people actually cook was always split across two or three shops. A market across the city for one thing, the supermarket for another, and a bag of honey beans that runs out mid-week.

World food pantry ingredients arranged on a warm stone surface

So we built the shop we wanted. A tight, deliberate world food range — West African and Caribbean essentials alongside European, American and Asian brands and the everyday staples that fill the rest of the trolley — sourced from trusted wholesalers and posted anywhere in the UK.

No endless aisles of things nobody buys. Just the beans, the palm oil, the curry powder, the basmati, the cereals and the malt drinks that make a kitchen feel like home — whichever home that is.

We are a small UK operation. Every box is checked by hand before it leaves us, and if something arrives wrong we want to hear about it the same day.

Sourced, not scraped

Every line comes from wholesalers we buy from ourselves. If we would not cook with it, we do not list it.

Specific, not generic

Oloyin beans over generic brown beans. Betapac over own-label curry. Tilda over unbranded rice. The specific thing, not the substitute.

Packed to arrive whole

Frozen goods packed cold, glass wrapped, everything in recyclable eco boxes designed for the post.

Start with the regulars

Honey beans, palm oil, Betapac curry and Peak milk. The four things that come back in almost every basket.
